These People Survived Even Though Left in The Condition of Dying

Sometimes the humans are indeed assume about the condition of the person. When someone looks already bleeding, most people thought he would not have survived and soon died. But can he still be merry or life if done right away.

Events like this are apparently also occurs frequently. Some of these people are considered already died so they will soon be left behind. In fact, they turned out to be a conscious return and stay alive though dying in a State of abandonment.

1. Hugh Glass

This story became the inspiration of the film he had made "The Revenant". A letter of the year 1824 tells the story of a man named Hugh Glass. He was attacked by a bear that tore his body so badly until some ribs visible. See his condition was so severe, her friend taking a knife and weapon of Hugh Glass and leave it well enough alone in the jungle.

Alone and with torn bodies, Glass crawled as far as 160 km in the wilderness of South Dakota before boarding a boat to Fort Kiowa. Glass spent nine months searching for people who had left him and get revenge. But he realized they didn't deserve to be killed.

2. William Thompson

The year 1867, William Thompson working on the Union Pacific Railroad and was sent to repair tissue damage Telegraph in Nebraska. En route, the train crash which he attacked the Cheyenne Indian tribe killed all the passengers. Thompson was shot in the shoulder, before part of his head and then skinned alive.

He fainted due to the incident, but later realized and found most of the skin of his head that has been sliced up there next to it. Because it can not be dialled back, he ended up saving slices his head and flaunt it to earn money.

3. Jacob Miller

The year 1862 at the battle of Chickamauga, Jacob Miller who is a Union soldier was shot in the head and left it by his friends. The Union forces retreated from the battle and left him alone in the enemy's defensive line. As he is aware, he is already so splattered with blood and no one recognized him.

Doctors refused to operate because he thought Miller would soon died that night that he did not want to cause any more pain. However Miller apparently managed to recover and survive until 50 years more and shrapnel in his head that pitted out by itself.

4. Uruguay Rugby team

In 1972, the aircraft that carries the Uruguay rugby team crashed into the Summit of the Andes and crashed at an altitude of 4200 meters above sea level. The survivors camped in the ruins of the plane for 11 days before eventually learned from the radio that the effort to search for them turns out to be cancelled.

Those who have run out of supplies and eventually chose to eat the bodies of victims who died when the plane crashed. With no hope to be found, Roberto Canessa and Nando Parado decided to climb the mountain pass for 10 days to seek help. Thanks to them, the remaining 14 people who survived are still alive after 72 days had to survive in the mountains.

5. Samuel Whittemore

At the age of 78 years, Samuel Whittemore became the oldest colonial fighter in the American Revolution. He attacked the United Kingdom from behind the walls of his ranch. Whittemore successfully kills 1 soldier passing by with his rifle and shot two more people with two pistol duel.

When the United Kingdom forces gather toward him, Whittemore took his sword, but he was shot in the face and stabbed with a bayonet. Neighbors found it abandoned and was trying to reload his rifle on top of a pool of blood. According to the doctor he would not survive, but in fact he managed to survive until the age of 96 years.

Some people showed their strong willingness to be able to continue to survive. Humans are not supposed to quickly give up in any condition. Even when other people already assume they will soon be killed or even been killed, apparently the will to stay alive to make them managed to survive.
