The nearest city which can be reached from this place is about two thousand kilometres. To reach this place needed a sea trip in six days from South Africa. There are at least 300 residents who live in a very remote town.


Whittier, Alaska





Whittier is a city that has a very remote location and only one road access. To reach the town, you have to penetrate the mountain through a tunnel with a length of three kilometres. The tunnel is only open during the day only. The population of the city amounted to about two hundred people. There is a public service spot in the city which include a fitness center, a church, a post office, and a souvenir/gift shop for tourists. Internet access in the city already exist but are only used for three computers in the school
